The mostly wooded hunting area of Haláp is quite accessible as it is located just 15 km away from Debrecen. The undisturbed and diverse environment provides ideal conditions for the two main game species, roe deer and wild boars. In the hunting area, the number of roe deer is kept in line with the maximum population capacity of the area. The antler size of the roe bucks is average, with a trophy weight of 250-300 grams. However, every year there are also roe bucks with trophies weighing 400-500 grams. The trophies are beautiful, well pearled, and exhibit a very nice color. Hunting for roe deer mainly takes place during the rutting season, which guarantees an unforgettable experience during this period.
