The Balatonfüred hunting grounds cover an expansive 7,200 hectares and are located in a hilly region approximately 30 kilometers north of Lake Balaton. Over 80% of the area is blanketed in forests, predominantly composed of beech, oak, and Turkey oak. Within this diverse hunting terrain, you can find typical Hungarian big game species such as red deer, roe deer, mouflon, and wild boar. Hunting opportunities abound, including stalking and stand hunting, as well as free- range driven hunts. Additionally, there is the option of organized driven hunts within a 420-hectare game reserve. For those seeking adventure, horse-drawn carriage hunting is also available. The annual cull quotas include 145 red deer, 90 roe deer, and 250 wild boar.
