The administration of Hajós-Lenes is under the management of the Hajós Forestry Office. Both areas are characterized mainly by sandy, flat terrain. The forests consist of acacias, Scots pines, common pines, occasional poplars, and pedunculate oaks. In dry summers, water scarcity is a challenge, which is why watering holes are established to support the wildlife during drought. The area now boasts a reasonable and healthy red deer population. Year after year, more red deer with trophies weighing over 10 kg are harvested. The most impressive stag trophy weighed over 13 kg!
