In the northern part of Debrecen, amidst the vastness of the Great Plain, you'll find the hunting grounds of Hajdúböszörmény. This picturesque area offers a variety of habitats and is home to an excellent population of roe deer. Of the total area of 8000 hectares, only 5% is covered by forests. This land is cultivated with typical agricultural crops such as winter wheat, winter barley, maize, sunflowers, and winter rapeseed. The centerpiece of this region is undoubtedly the roe deer, which thrives in the expansive fields, meadows, pastures, and along the canals.
