The size of the hunting area managed by the Síkvidéki Forestry Directorate is approximately 4,700 hectares. The distribution of agricultural and forestry areas in the region is well-balanced. All huntable big game species in Hungary can be found in the open areas of the hunting ground, except for mouflons. The distinctive and true strength of the territory lies in its high-quality females, occasionally accompanied by an outstanding trophy deer. The directorate’s primary task is habitat development, carried out in cooperation with agricultural enterprises while respecting their productive activities.
